On this page you can find out about the documents that you will have to upload according to your Target Group (TG) and the level of mobility you would like to apply for.

Some partner universities may ask for additional documents and certificates. Please make sure that you have read the corresponding University Information Sheet that is available at bottom of the specific page for each partner university. Furthermore, you should check the specific description of the study programme you would like to follow. This description is available following the links under the heading Academic offer of the partnership.

All documents must be accompanied by a translation into English or the working language at the host university. At early stages of the application phase, non-certified translations are acceptable. Selected candidates, however, will have to provide an official certified translation into English or the working language at the host university of the most relevant documents (transcripts, degrees, etc.)
Undergraduate

Transcript of records Must show that you have successfully completed at least one year of undergraduate studies. Mandatory ------- Mandatory
Official language certificate(s) Must be issued by an official language school, university or equivalent and state the level of proficiency you hold in that language. If the language of instruction at the host university is your mother tongue, you must add a signed declaration stating this condition. Mandatory ------- Mandatory
Study and recognition  proposal Study and recognition proposal drawn in cooperation with the academic supervisors at the home and host universities. It must be signed at least by the student and the academic supervisor at the home university. The corresponding template is available here. Mandatory ------- Mandatory
Passport

A scanned copy of the main page of your passport (the page with the photo). If you do not have a passport, then provide a scanned copy of your national identity card or equivalent document in your country. Keep in mind that, in case you are granted an Erasmus Mundus – Al Idrisi II scholarship, you will have to obtain a passport as a travel document and as proof of your nationality.

Proof of disadvantaged situation Document issued by a public or private institution (such as universities, public authorities, NGOs, etc.) giving proof that you belong to a disadvantaged group or are in a particularly vulnerable situation. Recommended ------- Mandatory
12 months rule declaration Only for North African nationals: Signed and dated document stating that you have not resided nor carried out your main activity (studies, work, etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in the European Union. Doctorate

Pre-admission or invitation letter

For short stays: Invitation letter signed by the programme coordinator or the head of the corresponding research unit at the host university.

For full degree: Pre-admission letter signed by the programme coordinator at host university (Certificate stating that the candidate fulfils the academic requirements and is eligible for admission to the program if he/she obtains the scholarship).

Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi II is a project for exchange and cooperation between Europe and North Africa that provided scholarships for undergraduate and master students, doctoral candidates, post-doctoral fellows and academic and administrative staff. The third and last call for applications closed in January 2016.
