What does the scholarship cover?

Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi II scholarships cover the following items:

  • a monthly allowance (for further details see the following table)
  • tuition fee waiver at the host university
  • insurance coverage (health, travel, accident)
  • direct visa costs and travel expenses for one economy class round-trip with standard luggage allowance (for further details see the second table below)

The maximum amount available for travel costs is based on the direct distance ("as the crow flies") between on one side the home university (for Target Group 1), location of origin (for Target Group 2) or location of residence (for Target Group 3) of the student/staff and on the other side the hosting university premises. Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi II is a project for exchange and cooperation between Europe and North Africa that provided scholarships for undergraduate and master students, doctoral candidates, post-doctoral fellows and academic and administrative staff. The third and last call for applications closed in January 2016.
