Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi scholarships are available for three different groups of candidates (Target Group 1, Target Group 2 and Target Group 3) according to your nationality and your academic, professional or socio-economic situation.
Please check the following list to find out whether you are eligible for an Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi scholarship and what Target Group you belong to.
Nationals from countries belonging to the European Union
- If you are enrolled or registered at a European partner university, you belong to Target Group 1and you can apply for
- Credit transfer programmes (undergraduate1, master)
- Short stay programmes (doctorate, post-doctorate, academic and administrative staff)
Nationals from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia2
- If you are enrolled or registered at a Maghrebian partner university, you also belong to Target Group 1and you can apply for
- Credit transfer programmes (undergraduate1, master)
- Full degree programmes (master, doctorate)
- Short stay programmes (doctorate, post-doctorate, academic and administrative staff)
- If you are enrolled or registered at a higher education institution in Algeria, Morocco or Tunisia not included in the Erasmus Mundus - Al Idrisi partnership, you belong to Target Group 2 and you can apply for
- Full degree programmes (master, doctorate)
- Short stay programmes (post-doctorate)
- If you have obtained a university degree in Algeria, Morocco or Tunisia, you also belong to Target Group 2and you can apply for
- Full degree programmes (master, doctorate)
- Short stay programmes (post-doctorate)
- If you can prove that you are in a particularly vulnerable situation, you belong to Target Group 3and you can apply for
- Credit transfer programmes (undergraduate)3
1 Undergraduate students must have successfully completed at least one year of studies at first higher education level
2 Applicants must not have resided nor have carried out their main activity (studies, work, etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in the European Union. This does not apply to academic and administrative staff mobility flows.
